Financial & Office Manager - Paarl

Boy Louw Inc. is a boutique law firm, specialising in corporate, commercial and property law.

This is an ideal opportunity for a financially qualified person with excellent organisational & coordinating skills and outstanding interpersonal skills who can function independently and take initiative.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • The full Financial Management function (budgets, bookkeeping, payments, insurance, audit, statutory payments (tax), salaries etc.)
  • HR Management (personnel files administration, leave, employment contracts, disciplinary matters etc.)
  • Office Management (oversee reception, vehicle(s), archive, office space, standard operating procedures etc.)
  • IT & Systems management
  • Compliance management (FICA, Legal Practice Council and other)

The ideal person will meet the following requirements:

  • BCom / BAcc degree
  • Completed articles
  • At least 5 years’ post articles experience
  • Professional registration SAIPA/SAICA (advantageous)
  • Previous experience at a Law Firm (advantageous)
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office)
  • Experience on the Ghost Practice (legal accounting platform) (advantageous)
  • Excellent computer skills (Word / Outlook / Ghost Practice)
  • Outstanding emotional intelligence / interpersonal skills
  • Excellent ability to manage conflict effectively
  • Outstanding professional communication skills in both Afrikaans and English (oral and written)
  • Above average organisational and coordinating skills
  • High levels of accuracy and a detail-oriented work style
