Fitter Germiston SalaryR18 000 – R25 000TCTC; included benefits – Medical Aid and Provident Fund The incumbent will be responsible for daily inspection of all maintenance equipment and the upkeep of all records, inspection on all pumps, gearboxes and pipes etc. Main duties including but not limited to: Carry out duties as detailed in the maintenance schedule and as per maintenance manual Respond to plant breakdowns based on requests as detailed on the job card Perform upgrade activities as per instructions Ensure the implementation of preventative maintenance Comply to the health and safety policies and procedures, at all times and immediately report any incidents Compile and submit the required paperwork as and when required Diagnose and repair faults on mechanical components and plant equipment Complete paperwork in accordance with quality procedures and good housekeeping practices Minimum requirements A minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent qualification Trade test certified 3 years’ experience in maintenance of manufacturing equipment Technical Courses and exposure in welding and electrical will be an advantage Ability to communicate well in English Language Knowledge and competence in MS office
