DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to:

Procurement of fleet and trailers getting the necessary approval for CAPEX.
Monitor and manage fleet maintenance quality control.
Schedule fleet repairs according to specified intervals.
Manage Suppliers who effect repairs on fleet.
Maintenance and repairs of Gensets.
Manage the repair and replacement of tires.
Liaise with claims department to effect repairs to accident damaged vehicles to ensure fleet availability.
Ensure COFs are done on time and the purchase of licenses for the fleet.
Submit weekly and monthly reports regarding assets and verification.
Responsible for the transfer of assets to different regions and updating asset register.
Manage and lead assets staff.
Create and maintain processes to manage the fleet.

Proficiency in MS Word.
Strong Excel knowledge Is essential.
Ability to liaise professionally with Suppliers, personnel, and management at all levels.
Ability to work without supervision, under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Ability to work extended hours.
Knowledge of South African Transport Legislation.
Knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation and compliance.
Report writing skills.
Communication skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Must be willing to travel.
