As we expand our operations, we are seeking a talented Senior Finance Manager to lead our finance team and drive financial strategy within our retail division. As the Senior Finance Manager, you will play a strategic role in shaping the financial direction of our retail operations. You will lead financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities to support business objectives and drive profitability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, extensive experience in the retail sector, and a proven track record of strategic leadership. Lead financial planning and analysis for the retail division, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Develop and implement financial strategies and initiatives to drive revenue growth, optimize costs, and improve profitability. Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making and strategic planning. Oversee financial reporting and analysis, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to regulatory requirements. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess business performance, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions as needed. Lead the annual budgeting process for the retail division, collaborating with department heads to set realistic and achievable financial targets. Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to evaluate business opportunities, risks, and potential impacts on financial performance. Manage financial controls and processes to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures. Mentor and develop finance team members, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for growth and development. Honours degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a senior management role within the retail industry. Extensive knowledge of retail finance concepts, operations, and industry dynamics. Strong financial analysis and modeling skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders. Excellent leadership and strategic planning abilities, with a track record of driving results and leading high-performing teams. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization. Proficiency in financial planning and analysis tools, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
