General Manager required for client in the food service hospitality sector.  Business unit management and maximisation of revenue income within a group setting for short stay guests  Management of staff including recruitment, develoment and training, productivity and performance, discipline  Financial management ensuring budgeted profitability  Provide input in the budgeting process  Ensure team are aware of monthly targets  Ensure achievement of revenue: cost per person and controllable expenses  Review of set budgets and income statement  Identify potential cost and growth opportunities  Oversee front desk operations and administration  Take ownership of billing for corporate clients  Authorisation of reversals  Banking reconciliation checking and approval  Manage and monitor controllable expenses  Achieve budgeted protit targets as agreed by management  Check and sign off payroll  Quality control, safety and security, housekeeping, hygiene  Stock and asset management including fixtures and fittings maintenance/repairs/replacements  Stock aging control and regular stock takes  Sales and service levels strategy implementation  Complaint handling and customer satisfaction  Matric a must  Relevant hospitality qualification  Minimum 3 years' experience at management level  Working knowledge of South African Labour Law  Own vehicle and valid driver's license R25 000.00 - R27 000.00 CTC including Provident Fund
