We are looking for a Plating Foreman to join the team Manages the execution of the plating production and process flow, prepares for variable trends and makes / recommends adjustments according to the daily production plan. Allocates job cards/production targets to operators and tool setters according to the production plan. Manage and sign-off all chemical and ingredient usage. Checks that correct tools and quality of materials are being used, prepares equipment for maintenance / inspection, and initiates requests for maintenance. Identifies defects and errors in the plating process and conducts investigations and collaborates with key stakeholders to find solutions with minimal / no impact to production output. Is responsible for resolving all escalated issues received from direct reports timeously. Liaise with quality and conduct quality checks to verify adherence to standard operating procedures and inspects quality specifications. Organises / coordinates people and resources to achieve desired work output / targets / outcomes. Develops and maintains communication structures and communicates work requirements and relevant information to direct reports ensuring that they have access to the required tools, equipment, material (material balancing) etc. to perform their tasks to the required standard. Supports management in identifying improvement opportunities to drive cost-effective and efficient operation to maximise business profits. Provides staff with support, responsible for time and attendance and disciplinary of staff. Adheres and enforces all health and safety regulations and report all safety hazards, accidents and incidents to relevant parties. Increase efficiencies by reducing downtime and minimizing scrap. Provide management with reporting on production variances, downtime and any other relevant reporting required. Lead daily operation meetings and address matters arising. National Diploma/Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering 5 Years' working experience in Electroplating Environment 2 Years' Supervisory experience Computer literacy (SAP, MES);
