Unique Personnel boasts over 50 years (established in 1970) of personnel and staffing experience, so it's not surprising that even though our main focus has been providing on South African Staffing Solutions, we now recruit internationally for over 5000 clients Role Summary Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Frontline receptionist ensures a smooth “greet and meet” of existing customers and staff. Directs incoming calls to appropriate division and operating center. Accountabilities / Key Performance Areas Frontline and first image of company Exceptional telephone manners and frontline elocution skills Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming and directing them appropriately. Notifies company personnel of visitors arrival Maintains security Maintains telecommunications system together with IT DEPT Welcomes visitors by greeting them in person or on telephone, answering or referring inquiries. Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories, giving instructions Maintain security by following procedures, monitoring visitor logbooks ensuring the visitors have visitor badges Maintains telecommunication systems by following manufacturer's instructions for house phone and console operations Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules and regulations Maintains continuity among work teams by documentation and communication actions, irregularities and continuing needs Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Assists OH&S Dept with communication, fire alarm reset and error code reporting. Grade 12 or equivalent Minimum of less than three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience on CISCO IP Phones and busy switchboard (SIEMANS) Outlook Excel Internal customer service skills Proficient in English / Afrikaans / African home language Basic communication skills Organization Interpersonal, soft skills Serving people / staff Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures Highly motivated with a positive attitude Well-organized Highly energetic and productive Excellent customer manner, highly polished presence Grade 12 or equivalent Minimum of less than three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
