Position: Experienced Group Consolidation and Reporting Accountant CA(SA) Location: Sandton, Johannesburg North. Type: Onsite/office-based position (does not allow for remote working). Brief Job Outline: Finance and reporting (monthly and annual responsibilities) for the Group. Preparation of Group management accounts on a monthly basis (including review of monthly forecasting). Drafting and passing monthly Consolidation journals (including ensuring Group intercompany loans are in balance). Preparation of Group annual budget (accumulation of businesses budgets). Review businesses tax schedules (Provisionals, interim and final). Preparation of Group tax schedules (Provisionals, interim and final). Manage Group internal and external audits and ensure subsidiary statutory audits are completed timeously. Ensure subsidiary AFS are signed off timeously. Review Head Office annual budgets and Head Office VAT returns. Head office trial balance review – this includes correct allocation of income and expenses. Tax: Deal with SARS ad SARS related queries. Review of tax computations for 1st, 2nd provisional, interim and annual submissions and Completion and submission of annual, provisional and IT14SD returns. IFRS: Identify, develop and implement new accounting policies across the group to ensure IFRS compliance as well as good corporate governance. Essential Requirements: Qualified CA(SA). 3 to 5 years experience as a GROUP CONSOLIDATION & REPORTING Accountant. 2 to 3 years experience employed within a listed/large corporation. 2 to 5 years commercial experience. SAGE X3 experience. Salary Range: - R80,000 to R90,000 Cost to company per month (please note that salary will be dependent on the candidate years of relevant experience, current job level, tertiary education and certifications, relevant industry experience, etc.)
