The Group Reservationist will handle inquiries, coordinate reservations, and collaborate closely with our hospitality teams to guarantee exceptional service delivery. Key Responsibilities: Managing group reservations from initial inquiry to booking confirmation. Coordinating with clients, travel agencies, and event planners to understand group needs. Providing accurate information on accommodation options, facilities, and services. Ensuring all reservations are accurately recorded in the booking system. Optimizing room allocations to maximize occupancy and guest satisfaction. Liaising with various departments to coordinate group arrivals, special requests, and additional services. Handling deposits, payments, and invoicing in accordance with company policies. Addressing booking discrepancies and guest concerns promptly and professionally. Requirements: Previous experience as a reservationist in a hotel or lodge environment required. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in reservation software (e.g., Opera) and MS Office Suite. Knowledge of hospitality industry practices and procedures. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality management a plus.
