Description Group Sales Manager required for a reputable hardware company based in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape Manages and oversees the sales operations in the business. Their main duties include designing plans to meet sales targets, developing and cultivating relationships with customers and evaluating costs to determine their products' pricing when selling to customers Requirements: 8 - 10 Years successful previous experience as a Sales Manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets Previous Industry knowledge in Hardware is advantageous. Relevant Sale & Marketing qualification Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close Strong business acumen and industry expertise Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skill Duties : Sells products by implementing national sales plans. Supervises Portfolio Sales Managers Provides input into the annual sales targets per portfolio, plans by implementing marketing strategies, analyzing trends and results. Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for Portfolios / Branches / Regions and territories and projecting expected sales volumes for existing and new products. Implements national sales programs by developing field sales action plans. Maintains sales volume by tracking changing trends, economic indicators, competitors and supply and demand. Plans, monitors, and appraises job results. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
