Reference: CAW005865-MU-1 Group Sales Manager - Port Elizabeth - Eastern Cape A major company with branches over the Western and Eastern Cape is looking for a Group Sales Manager to join their branch in Port Elizabeth . Role description: The suitable candidate will oversee and manage the sales operations in the business. Their main duties include designing plans to meet sales targets, developing and cultivating relationships with customers and evaluating costs to determine their product pricing when selling to customers. Reporting to: the director of the company Remuneration: Total Cost to Company: R80k - R90k Duties & Responsibilities: Sells products by implementing national sales plans. Supervises Portfolio Sales Managers Provides input into the annual sales targets per portfolio, plans by implementing marketing strategies, analyzing trends and results. Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for Portfolios / Branches / Regions and territories and projecting expected sales volumes for existing and new products. Implements national sales programs by developing field sales action plans. Maintains sales volume by tracking changing trends, economic indicators, competitors and supply and demand. Management of staff and sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results. Plans, monitors, and appraises job results. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies Requirements and Skills: Meeting sales goals Negotiation skills Selling to customer needs Motivation for sales Sales planning Building relationships Coaching Managing processes Market knowledge Developing budgets Staffing Advanced computer skills Please note that only candidates with the required experience will be considered and contacted.
