Large corporate client with Head Office based in Durban has a need for a Head of Enterprise Systems Responsible for providing the overall leadership, vision and strategy for Enterprise system services and product solutions. Leads a high-performance team of product and portfolio managers who deliver agile and managed solutions. Implements a product management, team-based, operating model that is business aligned and ensures an agile response to evolving business needs Identifies and selects strategic solution partners through well-defined requirements and managers service providers against clearly contracted SLAs Stays informed of key changes, trends Manages all product solution investments and assets against clear and documented product lifecycle roadmaps Manages multiple initiatives while reporting on progress, risks and amendments to the IT Executive Team Provides a comprehensive review of the systems, processes, policies and the overall Enterprise portfolio with the view to determining the most efficient and cost-effec tive methodologies and solutions are in place Relevant 3-year IT degree 15 years' experience leading enterprise systems, product-oriented teams to deliver business value in an ERP (SAP/SAP 4 Hana advantageous)) environment across multiple geographies 10 years in a management role within a large organisation Proven experience in building and organising product team structures, capabilities, and ways of working in an agile context (essential) Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced / dynamic team environment to meet critical deadlines Experience in financial analysis, managing budgets, risks, costs, and performance Market related
