Head Therapist - Bela-Bela

Requirements:
  • Must possess and demonstrate strong leadership qualities and skills
  • Must be well-spoken with fluency in spoken and written English
  • Must be well-groomed, professionally dressed, manicured, hair in an up-style and full make-up during working hours
  • Must have high standards of honesty, courtesy, consideration, punctuality, and impartiality
  • Must be self-disciplined, self-confident and self-motivated
  • Must be able to maintain composure under pressure
  • Must have strong organising skills to effectively carry out requirements of scheduling, stock orders and control, service standards and overall team management
Responsibilities:
  • Must set targets for each therapist and conduct regular one on ones to ensure targets are met.
  • Must train staff on upselling, treatments and promoting treatments
  • Must be running a therapist column and be able to do treatments as a therapist
  • Control and manage inventory, carrying out stock takes on a regular basis, reorder stock within specified guidelines and maintain stock levels within agreed targets
  • Set and maintain high standards of appearance, hygiene and cleanliness of the Spa Facilities, treatment rooms, product, nail varnishes, wax pots and Spa employees
  • Must be able to delegate responsibilities to therapist to ensure spa standards are maintained
  • Monitor the adherence of staff to company policies and procedures and any other procedures that may be documented from time to time
  • Identify staff training requirements and co-ordinate the delivery of such training
  • Provide management with proactive feedback on the operation of the Spa, offering recommendations on improvements and suggesting potential solutions to problems
  • Provide management with recommendations on staff rosters on excel spread sheet by the 15th of each month, manage and control agreed rosters and ensuring staff punctuality is maintained
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the functionality and maintenance requirements of all equipment used in the treatment rooms
  • Maintain high levels of motivation amongst all staff members, staff development and training
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to therapy and client service standards amongst all client-facing staff
  • Provide operations progress reports to management and any other reports that may be required from time to time
  • Keep record of staff tips and ensure management get a detailed report of tips owed.
  • Ensure that required levels of confidentiality are adhered to at all times by all staff
  • Set and maintain exemplary standards to ensure the Spa maintain and elevates its reputations as a leading, professional Spa in the industry
