Applications are invited for the Social Media Coordinator position to be based in the Western Region. Job Title: Social Media Coordinator Location: Stellenbosch, Western Cape, South Africa Reference : Social Media Coordinator Contract Type: Permanent Salary: Market Related Job Summary: The Social Media Coordinator engages with customers on social media and assist with Event Management, primarily in the Western Cape Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to: • Online Community Management, including distributing and / or responding to customer queries on Facebook, Twitter, Hello Peter, Google Reviews, and similar platforms within 2-3 hours. • Publishing of local content across all social media channels. • Setting up and running weekly or monthly customer engagement reports for Management. • Assisting the Regional Marketing Coordinator with activations, events, and local sponsorships between Tuesdays – Saturdays. Requirements: The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills: – • 1 – 2 years online community management experience. • Customer service skills. • Ability to work quickly and under pressure. • Problem-solving skills. • Time management skills. • Self-motivated individual that can work alone or as part of a team with limited supervision.
