Our client in the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry is currently looking for a Hospitality Manager , in Mopani, Limpopo. Prepare welcome and departure notes for guests. Check guests in during the day and manage dietary requirements and other special requests. Meet all guests for check-ins, check-outs, hosting, and site inspections. Ensure all organizational requirements for delivering a guest experience at Lodge are planned and executed daily. Assist in the training and development of staff, as necessary. Work closely with the Senior Management team to ensure seamless daily operations. Maintain brand standards in all areas of the guest experience. Represent the brand in both appearance and behaviour. Foster an environment that embraces the company culture and values. Innovate new ideas and methods to enhance the brand and improve services. Plan, action, and create guest delights both in the bush and at the lodge. Check setups for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Manage the butler's department, including shifts, duties, and resolving any issues. Ensure the main area is always tidy and styled according to standards. Host guests at mealtimes and ensure smooth service from the kitchen and butlers. Work closely with butlers and lodge managers to maintain high service standards. Assist the Operations Manager and Lodge Manager with monthly stock takes and stock orders. Assist with general administrative tasks, including emails, staff rostering, and daily allocations. Manage stock control, ensuring stock is issued correctly. Run point on large group bookings. Maintain open communication with all departments, ensuring information flows freely. Support lodge operations when the Operations Manager or Lodge Manager is on leave. Pay close attention to day sheet information such as dietary and medical requirements for guests. Be motivated, friendly, and proactive in dealing with lodge operations and guest expectations. Maintain a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow. Foster a training mentality and be open to feedback. 3 - 5 years' experience in a 5-star operation in a camp manager/Duty manager role. Experience in the service industry especially in dealing with guests and staff. Managerial experience. MS Office knowledge essential. PANstrat Knowledge beneficial. Wine & Food experience. Dependent on qualifications and experience.
