- Lead the implementation and maintenance of IT systems, including hardware, software, and networks, with a focus on Opera and Symphony platforms.
- Collaborate closely with Front Office and Finance departments to understand their IT requirements and ensure seamless integration of systems to support operational efficiency.
- Oversee the configuration, customization, and optimization of Opera Property Management System (PMS) and Symphony Central Reservations System (CRS) to meet the unique needs of the hotel.
- Provide technical support and training to hotel staff on Opera and Symphony systems, ensuring proficiency in utilizing these tools for daily operations.
- Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure data security, compliance, and reliability of systems.
- Proactively identify opportunities for system enhancements and implement innovative solutions to improve guest experience and streamline processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to Opera and Symphony systems, recommending best practices and strategies for optimization.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT management, preferably in the hospitality industry, with a strong understanding of Opera and Symphony systems.
- In-depth knowledge of Opera PMS and Symphony CRS, including configuration, troubleshooting, and customization.
- Experience in managing IT infrastructure, networks, and cybersecurity protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in French is advantageous.
