Reference: JHB003162-RD-1 Our Client is looking for a Hotel Manager to join their Estate Area/Location: Franschhoek, Cape Town Role Overview: The Hotel Manager will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the hotel, including guest services, staff management, financial performance, and property maintenance. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning. Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and hotel profitability. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of hospitality professionals, fostering a positive work environment. Monitor and manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with other departments within the estate to coordinate activities and enhance guest experiences. Address and resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and aesthetics throughout the property. Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to increase occupancy and revenue. Stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge. Conduct regular inspections to maintain the highest levels of cleanliness, maintenance, and aesthetic appeal. Implement and monitor operational procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
