Reference: JHB001410-hanS-1 Our client is looking for an HSE Officer that will be assisting with the day-to-day implementation and monitoring of the health, safety and environmental management systems, and to take ownership of the daily Health, safety and environmental tasks on site. Requirements: Grade 12/ Matric SAMTRAC or equivalent health and safety qualification 2 Year experience in a health and safety functions. Computer literate ( Ms Word, Ms Excel, Ms Outlook, PowerPoint) Occupational health and safety functions. Roles and Responsibilities: Assisting HSE Manager with implementation of HSE procedures and controls. Compiling and distributing hazard identification forms for all identified hazards. Conducting preliminary incident investigations Following up on incidents Completing inspections according to the inspections register. Submitting completed inspections to the HSE Manager. Monitoring contractors on site (safety files) Distribute and collect toolbox talks Updating external HSE training register and monitor expiry dates.
