Reference: Cen000360-E-1 Senior Human Resource Manager - GP Consult: Recruitment & Labour Industry - Centurion Job Description: The Senior HR Manager will be responsible for leading the HR department and ensuring the implementation of effective HR strategies and practices. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills to manage all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance with South African labor laws. Key Responsibilities: Strategic HR Leadership Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Provide guidance and support to senior management on HR-related matters. Recruitment and Talent Management: Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding. Implement effective talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent. Manage and develop the talent pipeline for future organizational needs. Employee Relations: Foster a positive work environment and culture. Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution. Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations. Performance Management: Develop and implement performance appraisal systems. Provide coaching and support to managers and employees on performance-related issues. Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate training programs. Promote continuous learning and development opportunities for employees. HR Policies and Compliance: Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with South African labor laws and industry regulations. Manage employee records and HR documentation. Compensation and Benefits: Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs. Conduct salary reviews and benchmark against industry standards. Customer Service: o Maintain strong relationship with clients and stakeholders. o Adress and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly. o Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective human resource management. Budget Management: o Prepare and manage the HR Department budget. o Monitor expenses and implement cost-control measures. o Report in financial performance and identify areas for improvement. Strategic Planning: o Develop and implement strategic plans for the HR department. o Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation. o Collaborate with othe departments to support overall business objectives. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior HR management role. Comprehensive knowledge of South African labor laws and HR best practices. Proven experience in recruitment and talent management. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
