Our client is a family agricultural business in the Elgin valley engaged in production, packaging, refrigeration, logistics and marketing of apples and pears. The company currently has a vacancy for Human Resource Manager in their growing business. The suitable candidate will form part of a dynamic senior management team and will report directly to the CEO. The position involves the overall management of the full personnel function of the business. The successful candidate will: Possess outstanding management skills Ability to inspire people and build and maintain good relationships Facilitate performance management across all levels in the company Have human resources management experience Good knowledge of the Basic Conditions of Employment, Sectoral Determination Act and occupational safety Have a passion for primary agriculture An appropriate tertiary education and proficiency in an African language will count in the applicant's favour.
