Job Description:

Install, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment as per job cards
Follow all reasonable instructions and requests issued by Franchisee/Operations Manager when working at customer premises
Conduct fault-finding to repair aircons and identify maintenance risks on equipment
Occasionally work overtime, weekends, and public holidays when required to do so by management
Provide technical direction and on-the-job training
Keep daily logs and records of all maintenance functions as required by management
Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards, product standards, and with Occupational Health and Safety Act
Assist with customer queries
Ensure that all tools and equipment are in good working order and are used properly
Conduct thorough site clean up on completion of work at customer site
Implement proper preparation and stock management prior to commencing work on site
Comply with service standards, work instructions, and customers' requirements
Exemplify professional conduct in the correct manner and in accordance with the standards detailed in the operations manual
Provide exceptional customer service and take due care to avoid damage to customer property

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 qualification or Equivalent Technical
Minimum 10 years of experience as an HVAC technician
Relevant trade test (beneficial)
Willingness to continue education in the HVAC field
A valid driving license.
An understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating
Knowledge of service, product, and installation methods
Capacity to use discretion when examining installation instructions
Excellent verbal communication skills
Good customer liaison and service skills
Literacy and numeracy skills.
