Reference: CPT000501-CB-1 We require an experienced and qualified Import and Export Manager. You'll lead a team to streamline customs processes, guaranteeing accurate documentation, adherence to import/export regulations, and timely goods clearance to optimise international trade. Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 Logistics or Supply Chain Diploma/Degree At least 5 years experience in a similar role Customs procedures experience Export documentation experience SAP experience Duties and Responsibilities: Lead and manage the customs and compliance team, ensuring accurate and timely completion of customs documentation and procedures for all plant shipments. Oversee the preparation and submission of all import/export documentation and customs declarations for smooth and efficient movement of goods. Stay updated on changes in customs regulations and trade laws to guarantee ongoing compliance. Resolve customs-related issues and discrepancies, including tariff classification or valuation disputes, to minimise delays Continuously analyse customs data to identify opportunities for improving processes and reducing costs within the plant. Ensure adherence to all government laws, licensing regulations, and import/export requirements. Develop and implement efficient systems, policies, and procedures for import and export documentation. Verify customs documentation Train staff on procedures and regulations Monitor and manage duties, taxes, and fees to minimise the financial impact on the plant's international trade. Implement technology solutions to streamline customs documentation and reporting processes.
