Reference: CPT000497-CB-1 Position available for a Production Manager who comes from a beverage manufacturing background. You will manage a team and the production processes to optimise output. You will be customer-focused, ensuring high-quality products are delivered at competitive costs while ensuring customer satisfaction at the same time. Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 Tertiary qualification that relates to Food and Beverage, Process Manufacturing or Production industry, Industrial Engineering Experience with cGMP Principles Proficient with SAP Experience in the beverage manufacturing industry At least 5 years experience in a similar role Duties and Responsibilities: Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), yield loss, First Time Right (FTR), and Free of Complaints (FOC) metrics to identify areas for improvement. Quality & Hygiene: Implement and uphold the 5S Programme to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. Production Planning & Scheduling: Develop and manage production schedules to optimize resource allocation and meet deadlines. Line Optimization & Maintenance: Oversee the mechanical upkeep and optimization of production lines to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency. Cost Control: Implement strategies to ensure cost-effective production processes. Resource Optimization: Plan and manage the allocation of human and material resources to meet production demands efficiently. Cost Management: Oversee both capital expenditures (Capex) and operational expenditures (Opex) to ensure cost-effective production processes. Production Monitoring & Adjustment: Actively monitor production processes, identifying and addressing bottlenecks or issues. Adapt production schedules when necessary to ensure on-time delivery. Selecting, maintaining, and monitoring equipment to ensure it consistently meets production standards. Ensuring Product Quality: Selecting and maintaining equipment while overseeing quality control programs to deliver products that meet established standards. Ensure Production team is motivated Evaluating employee performance and offering constructive feedback to support their growth and development Adhere to Health and Safety policy Report any incidents Wear protective clothing at all times Adhere to good housekeeping practices PLEASE NOTE : Thank you for your interest in this position, we will review and be in touch if you are suitable.
