Reference: ITE006140-DEP-1 Are you an Information Security Officer looking for your next new challenge? A well known automotive company is looking for an Information Security Officer (ISO) to join their team. The ISO is tasked with creating and sustaining an all-encompassing security program to protect information assets and technologies. As the main advisor on all security-related issues, both technical and otherwise, the ISO develops and enacts a security program that utilizes company-wide resources and collaboration. This role involves guiding senior leadership on security strategies and resource allocation, ensuring proper information security governance, and crafting policies to manage security risks effectively. Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive information security policies, procedures, and standards while ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices. Perform regular risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities, and develop strategies for handling security incidents and coordinating investigative activities. Oversee the implementation and maintenance of security measures for computer systems, networks, and data, and manage identity and access management systems. Ensure adherence to relevant security legislation and regulatory requirements, and coordinate with internal and external auditors to conduct regular security audits. Lead response efforts for information security incidents, including mitigation, investigation, and recovery, and develop and test incident response and disaster recovery plans. Conduct regular training sessions for staff on information security best practices and emerging threats, and promote awareness of the organization's security policies and procedures. Skills: A strong technical and business understanding of corporate business IT processes and environments. Endpoint security support. Knowledge of Network Technologies, Cloud Technologies, Firewalls and OS is advantageous. Knowledge of Power BI is advantageous.
