Reference: NFR004160-CAY-1 We are on a headhunt for an exceptional IT Audit Specialist to join a thriving consulting audit firm in Rosebank, Gauteng. In this role, you will be responsible for the assessment of the company's technological infrastructure. This will include evaluating whether processes and systems are running accurately and efficiently. You will be involved in developing and maturing a data analytics and continuous auditing programme as a forerunner to robotic process automation as well as assisting in effective end-to-end execution of risk-based internal audits. This opportunity includes travelling and working with multiple clients as trusted service provider. Duties and responsibilities include: Conduct comprehensive audits of IT systems, processes, and controls. Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with policies, standards, and regulations. Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in IT auditing. Direct and execute the IT project and governance audits. Manage the execution of audits and consulting projects within budgeted planned hours. Ensure timely reporting of assigned audit and consulting engagement tasks and follow established reporting protocols. Collaborate with other departments (Risk and Financial/Operational audit) regarding knowledge sharing on audit tasks being managed and executed. Actively contributing to building the talent pipeline; creates a talent experience that attracts, develops and retains top talent and high performing teams. Positively develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders Requirements: Bachelors Degree in IT / Computer Science/ Information Systems Post Graduate Degree/ Honours in IT/ Computer Science/ Information Systems (advantageous) CISA or CISSP or CISM certification required Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT auditing, information security, or related technical role focusing on compliance activities. Ability to plan and execute IT security audits. A working knowledge of Information Security Frameworks and Standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, SANS, OWASP, etc.) Strong IT knowledge in infrastructure technologies (networking, data centres and hosting, virtualization, cloud etc.), application development and support, and emerging technologies.
