ENVIRONMENT: A fast-growing FinTech company with a footprint seeks a strong technical ICT Infrastructure Support Specialist to take charge of the implementation & maintenance of the group's ICT infrastructure. You will also serve as the contact for escalations for in-country IT teams and have experience with Google Workspace administration and adoption. The successful incumbent will require a suitable Degree/Diploma with 3 years relevant work experience in an IT Support environment. DUTIES: Implementation, and maintenance of the group's ICT infrastructure including the following (but not limited to) – IT hardware; includes procurement, setup, maintenance and replacement processes. Networking and cabling - Ensure consistent high standards throughout the group. Connectivity; Data, Voice, Telephony - Monitoring, troubleshooting and management. Monitoring and management of Desktop Security (including antivirus and Patch Management). Give input into user security awareness training. Desktop Support Services. Be the contact for escalations for in-country IT teams. Ensure positive supplier relationships and management together with in-country IT teams. Google Workspace administration and adoption. Others: Firewalls, VPN, Queueing systems, CCTV. REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications – A relevant Degree or Diploma. Experience/Skills – 3 Years of relevant work experience in an IT Support environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using logical pragmatic reasoning. Attention to detail A concern for order, quality and accuracy. A meticulous approach to work. Fast and self-learning abilities. Result orientation and eager to work hard and smart. Good communication skills. Willing to travel Passion for Africa and willingness to work in the developing world context.
