Primary purpose of the job: Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager, this position requires the services of an individual to ensure that customer requirements are met with regards to geometry and quality of the product delivered. Key Performance Areas: Quality systems and concepts Manufacturing processes Customer specific requirements Understanding of a measuring report (robotic assembly of steel and aluminium automotive components) Core Tool: FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control plans and Six Sigma Green Belt Skills Required: Communication & Interpersonal skills Planning and organising Problem solving Analysis and presentation of statistical data Decision making Customer relationship skills Computer skills: MS Projects & MS Excel Geometric: Analysis and implementation of corrective actions - Robotic assembly (parameter control and analysis) Minimum Requirements: Grade 12/NQF Level 4 National Diploma in a relevant Engineering qualification Tertiary qualification in TQM Qualified Toolmaker/Millwright will be an advantage. Minimum 5 years of quality experience within the automotive environment Minimum 3 years manufacturing experience within the automotive environment Minimum 3 years working experience in the use of Quality Core Tools: SPC, MSA, FMEA, Control plans & Six Sigma Green Belt R34000 - R40000
