Key qualifications for the Internal Audit Analyst : Bachelor of Commerce Degree or Honours in a relevant field Professional certifications such as CIA or CISA (advantageous) 4 - 6 years of experience in a similar role Strong SQL skills Willingness and ability to travel across Africa Key duties for the Internal Audit Analyst include but are not limited to : Assisting in the planning and execution of internal audit engagements, including risk assessment and audit testing Conducting full population testing of credit policies and revenue models to ensure system accuracy Providing recommendations for the selection and implementation of audit analytics Performing data analysis to identify anomalies, trends, and patterns, and communicating findings to management Testing accounting entries and identifying control weaknesses Key personal skills for the successful Internal Audit Analyst : Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and precision Excellent communication and analytical skills Strong problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Passion for Africa and a willingness to work in a developing world context If you are passionate about internal audit, and have strong experience systems and process integrity, please get in touch to learn more.
