Solve is ladder manufacturing company supplying into the retail and industrial sector. The company is based in Meyerton, Gauteng. The Internal Sales Representative is responsible for managing incoming sales calls and web inquiries, tracking and following up with external sales representatives, handling sales administration tasks, providing support in credit applications, and collaborating with consultants to maintain the company's online image and promote brand awareness. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Manage Incoming Sales Calls and Web Inquiries: Respond to incoming sales calls and web inquiries (Social Media, Website, and Email), providing product information, pricing, and availability. Assist customers with product selection based on their needs and requirements. Prepare and send quotations and proposals to potential clients. Follow up on leads and close sales opportunities. Assist with sales calls and leads. Track and Follow Up with External Sales Representatives: Regularly communicate with external sales representatives to monitor their activities and progress. Provide support and assistance to external sales representatives in managing their sales pipeline and achieving their targets. Coordinate with external sales representatives to ensure timely follow-ups with potential clients. Report on sales representatives' visits per week and conversion rates. Sales Administration and Insight: Process sales orders and ensure accurate entry of customer information into the company's system. Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics team to ensure timely delivery of products. Manage and maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and sales activities. Maintain and keep up to date all trade agreements and customer information. Prepare regular sales reports and updates for management. Support sales in generating reports and sales figures. Analyze customer data to determine where price adjustments should be considered. Ensure that the MD is informed of any insights daily, weekly, and monthly. Credit Application Management: Assist customers in completing credit application forms and gather required documentation. Track the status of credit applications and follow up with the finance department for timely processing and approval. Maintain organized and up-to-date records of credit applications and related documents. Coordinate with the finance department to resolve credit-related issues and concerns. Collaborate with Consultants to Maintain Online Image and Promote Brand Awareness: Work closely with marketing consultants, web developers, and other external partners to maintain and enhance the company's online presence. Assist in developing and executing digital marketing strategies, including social media, email marketing, and content marketing, to promote brand awareness and generate leads. Including general content for newsletters etc. Monitor and analyze online performance metrics and collaborate with consultants to implement improvements and optimize digital marketing campaigns. Communicate the company's vision, mission, and unique selling points to consultants to ensure consistent and accurate representation of the brand across all digital channels. Customer Service and Support: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns promptly and professionally. Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer issues and maintain customer satisfaction. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, services, and industry trends to better serve customers. Database Management: Ensure all customer databases are updated with the relevant information. Reception Duties: Greet and welcome visitors, ensuring they sign in and are directed to the appropriate personnel. Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls. Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email about the company and its products. Scheduling: Manage appointments and bookings of meetings. Assist in organizing events, workshops, or training sessions as required. General Administrative Support: Assist in managing office supplies, equipment, and facilities to ensure a well-functioning work environment. Help coordinate and organize company events, meetings, and training sessions. Perform other administrative tasks as needed or assigned by management. Ensure up-to-date record-keeping for all functions of your role. Ensure that continuous improvement principles are applied. Ensure minutes are taken at all relevant meetings. Assist with stock takes and other company matters that may arise from time to time. Miscellaneous Duties: Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and other company activities as required. Contribute to team efforts and collaborate with colleagues to achieve overall company goals. Perform other duties not always directly related as assigned by management. Ensure minutes are taken at key meetings. A degree in sales, marketing, business administration, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience in sales, customer service, or a similar role. Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with CRM software is a plus. Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
