Telecommunication The candidate will be responsible for managing Operations and other Business Service support functions of the company's international business across EMEA and APJ, through the provision of operational leadership and support in the development and implementation of the company's operations policies and procedures. He/she is also responsible for ensuring the quality and eƯectiveness of the compny's daily operations, new product implementation, daily programs and transactions processing and any processes troubleshooting and issue management. Importantly, he/she will provide strategic leadership to the international and centralized operations units and broad team members to ensure the development and implementation of best-in-class FinTech operations. Role Responsibilities & Duties The role has a two-pillar focus, managing the current operations at The Company's international business, whilst simultaneously developing and implementing long-term plans for operations automation and enhancement. A. RUN THE BUSINESS – ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Serving as the primary escalation contact for operations and providing timely and clear responses to Vendor, Lender and RM requests related to Reseller questions, issues and requests, incl.: o In coordination with IT, establishing robust link-ups with Vendors, Lenders, and Resellers; o Maintaining smooth day-to-day operations, resulting in timely funding of Vendors from Lenders, repayments from Resellers, etc.; o Reconciling funding and repayment amounts with Vendors, Lenders, and Resellers, including credit notes, debit notes, etc.; o In case of late fundings, troubleshoot issues and recalculate funding amounts / refunds, extra charges, etc. Working with all relevant departments (Finance, Legal, CSG, IT, etc.) globally to address Vendor, Lender and Reseller issues and requests with a thorough understanding of potential impacts across departments; Operational alignment with the international Relationship Managers; In conjunction with the US based Head of Vendor Lender Operations, preparing and sending weekly, monthly and quarterly vendor reports, and based on the review thereof, proposing remediation and process improvement as required; Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentaƟon related to all operaƟonal processes incl. program specifics in each market; Assist with all InternaƟonal new Vendor, Lender and Reseller onboarding, leading the process acƟvity and all new product development and related process modificaƟons; DocumenƟng all operaƟonal processes and creaƟng a respecƟve audit system. CHANGE THE BUSINESS – upgrading “RUN” operations with the goal of automating and centralizing functionality on the IZZI platform. Identifying, analyzing and recommending Vendor, Lender, and Reseller solutions that support The Company's strategic goal of maximum operational automation. Leverage technology tools and the The Company IT and Innovation teams to streamline operational processes, enhance communication and improve overall eƯiciency. Build a metric system that measures touchless activities in operations incl. Funding, Payments, Financial Charges, Disputes. Reporting Line: Dual reporting line - President of International in London and dotted line to COO in Denver, USA. Stakeholder Management Key stakeholders that the position holder will need to liaise/work with to be successful in this role: Internal COO President of International CTO, MD of Innovations and IT Teams CSG Heads of Portfolio Management and respective RMs External Funders – IT and Operations Teams Vendors – IT and Operations Teams Resellers – IT and Operations Teams Education & Qualifications Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, IT, Business Management or any other quantitative field. Requirements At least 7 years of work experience including Senior Management positions in Banking Operations (Middle OƯice or Back OƯice), FinTech Operations or other related sectors; Role-holder must have exposure in: o Significant operations experience preferably at a Central Operations Centre level o Service/ Quality Oriented environment o Previous experience in planning and implementing change o Significant experience in project management o Previous experience in leading teams o Good leadership skills Technical Competencies Knowledge of Banking and Business Operations: Well-rounded knowledge of ALL the Bank/Fintech operations and processes and excellent knowledge of financial policies and procedures; Risk Management: Ability to anticipate and mitigate risk by developing appropriate Risk Management Policies; Conceptual and Analytical Skills: Analytical and practical understanding of workflow, capacity planning/optimization and process implementation; Technology Skills: Knowledge of computerized Internal Audit Techniques, Computerized accounting and financial systems, Middle OƯice and Back OƯice systems, banking applications, and spreadsheets.
