PURPOSE: We are looking for a knowledgeable and passionate Computer Technician Trainer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs that equip participants with the skills and knowledge necessary for success in the field of computer technology. This role is essential for fostering a skilled workforce in the IT sector. FORMAL EDUCATION: Minimum Requirement Level 6 or higher in a relevant field NQF Level 6 or Higher qualification in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology, or a related field. EXPERIENCE: At least 5 years of relevant experience in a business environment related to computer technology. TECHNICAL / LEGAL CERTIFICATION CompTIA A Certification CompTIA Network Certification Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) Accreditation: Must be accredited as an assessor or moderator by the MICT SETA RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and deliver engaging training sessions on computer hardware, software, and networking concepts. Assess and evaluate trainee performance to ensure competency and understanding of material. Create and update training materials that reflect current industry standards and practices. Provide hands-on support and guidance to trainees during practical exercises. PREFERRED SKILLS: Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to create a positive and interactive learning environment. Experience with instructional design and adult learning principles. Proficiency in various computer systems, software applications, and troubleshooting techniques
