IT Network Security (Fortinet) Engineer - (Sandton) - Johannesburg
Salary negotiable according to experience.
Seeking inspired IT Network Security Engineer to join a highly motivated and energetic team of security specialists.
The range of security technologies used by customers typically includes next generation firewalls, VPN, SDWAN, threat prevention, secure web gateways, CASB, authentication and end point protection.
Specific responsibilities would include:
- Administration and configuration of security technologies
- Support and troubleshooting
- System upgrades and patching
- Alert response
- Reporting
Desired experience and qualifications:
- Min 3- 5 years full-time experience working in a network SECURITY engineer role
- Min 2 years experience with Fortinet, Checkpoint, etc.
- Tertiary/industry qualifications that include IT systems, networking and security related courses
