Network Management: Design, implement, and manage LAN/WAN, network segments, internet, and intranet systems. Client Accounts: Manage client accounts, ensuring efficient communication and service delivery. This means you must have a reliable vehicle to get to and from client sites. Onsite Support: Provide onsite support to clients, troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Firewall Management: Configure and manage firewalls, ensuring network security and protection against unauthorized access. Cloud systems: Must have a working knowledge of Azure and On Prem AD. Escalation Handling: Act as the primary point of contact for escalation issues, resolving them promptly and effectively within the specified SLA standard. Network Security: Implement and maintain security measures (e.g., firewalls, VPNs, IPS/IDS) to protect against potential threats. Performance Monitoring: Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks and systems. Training and Mentorship: Provide guidance and training to junior technicians and IT staff. Project Management: Lead and participate in network-related projects, ensuring timely and successful completion. Payroll: Understanding and working knowledge of payroll systems. Antivirus: Proven experience with AV's on a broad scale After hour work: Must be able to accept calls from clients after hours for emergencies Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: 5 years of experience in network administration. Experience: 2 years of experience in Fortigate firewall maintenance & setup. (mandatory) Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network, CompTIA Security). Fortigate certified: Minimum NCE 4, or hold the badge Certified Associate Cybersecurity from Fortinet. (mandatory) Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, TCP/IP protocols, and network technologies. Proficiency in configuring and managing firewalls (e.g., Cisco, Sonic Wall, Palo Alto, Fortinet). (mandatory) Experience with network monitoring tools and technologies. Familiarity with network security practices and protocols. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Physical Requirements: Ability to perform onsite support, including lifting and installing network equipment. Work Environment: This role may require occasional travel to client sites. Flexibility to work outside regular business hours to perform maintenance and upgrades. This also includes handling after hour P1 & P2 calls
