Our client in the Transport Industry, requires the services of an IT Hardware Specialist with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to join their team. Key performance areas: Monitor and report on hardware product performance. Provide input on hardware product enhancements based on customer feedback. Develop and maintain documentation for hardware products. Collaborate with the hardware development team to resolve issues and improve products. Liaise with internal Sales and Support teams, as well as Commercial and Operational teams from the customer to align product capabilities with expectation, and ensure Support structures cater for unique requirements where applicable. Address customer queries and provide technical support for hardware products in operations, against predefined product specifications and frameworks. Conduct training sessions for customers and internal teams. Ensure timely resolution of customer issues. Perform analyses and reporting of hardware performance, incident reviews, and customer request feedback. The successful candidate must have: Matric with a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant field 3 - 5 years of experience in a hardware product, development, support or operations role Must have experience with hardware training and development Excellent computer literacy (MS Office – Outlook, Word & Excel) Must have strong conflict resolution skills with proven manage experience Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Must have a customer-focused mindset Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must have a valid driver's licence and own reliable transport Please note that only short listed candidates will be contacted.
