Christian Art Distributors currently has a vacancy for an IT Specialist to be based fulltime at our Head Office in Vereeniging (Vaal Triangle), within the Wholesale and Retail sector. Job Description: As an IT Specialist at Christian Art Distributors, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and efficiency. You will play a critical role in supporting our technical operations and providing top-notch IT solutions and be available on stand-by for urgent matters. Key Responsibilities: System Administration : Manage and maintain servers, networks, and computer systems. Technical Support: Provide advanced technical support to staff and troubleshoot IT-related issues Network Management : Oversee network infrastructure, including configuration, security, and performance optimization. Software Management : Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems. Security : Implement and manage security measures to protect data and systems from cyber threats. Project Management : Lead IT projects, from planning and execution to completion, ensuring timely delivery and within budget. Documentation : Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, processes, and procedures. Training : Train and support employees on IT best practices and new technologies. Qualifications: Experience : Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT. Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Skills: Proficiency in network and system administration. Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices. Experience with cloud services and virtualization technologies. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
