Komatsu South Africa has an opportunity for a Strategic Account Manager to join our team at Germiston. The preferred candidate must have 10 years' experience in the open cast mining environment. JOB PURPOSE: This TACTICAL LEVEL LEADERSHIP position in the MINING/OEM INDUSTRY MANAGES the Capital Equipment Sales & Key Account function for KAFH/KSA with regards to the following DISCIPLINE(S)/BUSINESS PROCESS(ES): LEADERSHIP Horizon Planning Financial Management Contracts/Customer/Supplier Management Corporate Governance DISCIPLINE/BUSINESS PROCESS: Marketing & Customer Relations SHE JOB ROLE: Formulates the goals and objectives for the Capital Equipment Sales & Key Account aligned with the Divisional Strategies Interprets and executes tactical plans in functional area Implements functional area resource & systems Aligns tactical plans, functional priorities and objectives to approved strategic changes Devises corrective and preventative plans where deviation is reported for functional area Submits progress reports on functional area's strategy and tactical plan implementation Providess input and prepares sections of annual divisional report Analyses and formulates the Capital Equipment sales & Key Account functions financial requirements Implements and manages functional area's financial plan and budget Prepares financial reports Checks and controls functional area income Reports any deviations from acceptable governance norms, approved procedures and practices Plans and prepares tender/bid process & submits documents for purchase of new goods/services Maintains customer & strategic supplier relationships Manages contracted services/Service Level Agreements Resolves on contractual issues, metrics and other related information for own functional area Resolves contractual compliance issues to mitigate risk Identifies the impact of potential risk and recommends preventative action plans Reports all risks identified and mitigation thereof to executive management Collaborates with the SHE function in the roll out of SHE events for functional area Reports on SHE incidents, issues and problems and implements corrective action/policy changes Complies and submits required OSHA accidents reports QUALIFICATION: Relevant business degree YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 10 years experience in open cast mining 3 years experience in a relevant role at the lower tactical level D4
