16 sleeper, 5 star game lodge in Limpopo

Job Description

Our client is looking for a Maintenance/Lodge Couple. The couple needs to have 2-3 years experience in the lodge industry, be reliable and have a passion for the bush. Ideally a strong maintenance/office admin couple guiding qualifications required by one.

Assistant Manager

Responsibilities include:

• • Hosting guests
  • Check-in & check-outs
  • Working alongside the GM and reservations manager
  • Office administration reservations and social media
  • Monthly reporting to GM
  • Overseeing various departments (kitchen/housekeeping, etc.)

Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities include:

• General Maintenance and repairs to all buildings.
• Upkeep and repairs of all public areas.
• General Maintenance on electrical, plumbing, appliances, tools and equipment.
• Plan, propose and manage all projects as and when required including collaboration of projects with outside contractors.
• Ensure quality control of maintenance and projects.
• Prepare and submit monthly reports and ad hoc budgets for operations and projects.
• Fleet Management of company vehicles.
• Hosting guests

Strong Communication Skills. Well organised and structured. Friendly and outgoing personality. Must be passionate about the lodge industry. Team players with high regard for efficiency, detail and service excellence. One of the couple to be a qualified Game Ranger/Field Guide with FGASA Level Assistant Manager : Good computer skills / social media and marketing advantageous. Office administration. Exceptional Guest Relations skills. Ability to think on the spot. Willingness to learn and be hands-on. Game ranging experience / FGASA Level 1 (optional) Valid RSA Driver's License with a public drivers permit (PDP). Maintenance Manager Maintenance skills - Must be competent in the following areas - Electrical (single and three phase), Refrigeration, borehole & river pumps & basic mechanical knowledge. Attention to detail. Reliable and adaptable Qualified Game Ranger/Field Guide with FGASA Level 1 (optional) Valid RSA Driver's License with a public drivers permit (PDP)
