Junior Accountant - Johannesburg
National Accounting Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Cost and Management Accounting
Minimum 1 - 2 years relevant experience in line with the below duties
Basic computer literacy Microsoft programs
Accuracy, attention to detail, deadline driven, self starter and use own initiative
Financial Training (ability to run own committed cost system)
Good communication skills and assertive business acumen.
Ability to work under pressure
The incumbent will be responsible for:-

- Expense Claim - voucher preparation - All Companies
- Assist Accountants - EPC Kew
- Financial Administration - filing etc
- ICC Journal - All Companies
- Assisting staff with reconciliations
- Overseas travel claims - All Companies
- BEE - Purchasing Report
- Transport Recovery - All Companies
- Float advances & Site float - local and foreign - All Companies
- Loan Account Balancing -All Companies
- Maintain Fixed Asset Register & Wear and Tear sch
- Divisional Charges & Journal - EPC
- Adhoc accounting functions
- Foreign revaluations - Debtors, Creditors & Bank
- Monthly standard journals (Insurance, audit fees extra)
- Fixed assets - physical count & minor asset register
- Assist Financial Accountant
- Prepare GL Recons (All Companies)
- Assist with Budget Preparation
- Opex spend - Budget Order Requisitions
- Approved budget - load Syspro
