Ensure strict confidentiality on all aspects of Bookkeeper position.
Record all bank statements daily (Cashbook)
Daily Reconciliation of Standard Bank Statements Monthly reconciliations of ABSA and HSBC statements
Processing of payments (local and foreign) on banking system
Daily uploads of Bank Statements
Investing of surplus funds
Debit Orders / Leases of premises
Journals
Prepare cash forecast monthly.
Reconcile the various bank General Ledger accounts.
Revaluation of Foreign Loan accounts & Bank accounts
Management Reports expected by MD/FM
Exemption reports expected by MD/FM
Supervise and review petty cash transactions and floats.
Year-end procedures
Monthly reporting of VAT Returns
Checking of expense claims
Analyse cashbook payments for BBBEE scorecard purposes
Prepare, input and control fixed asset register.
Manage fixed assets physical verification and labelling.
Capex budget, issuing LIP numbers and balancing LIP to FAM
Maintaining fixed asset on Cartesis
