The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, overseeing the accounting team, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role requires a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in accountancy, with a proven track record of managing and working effectively with people. Key Responsibilities: Financial Management: Oversee the preparation and maintenance of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. Team Management: Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the team's productivity and professional development. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis. Audit and Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures. Coordinate and support external audits. Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage and oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. Reconciliation: Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure financial data integrity. Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations based on financial analysis. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in accounting operations. Requirements: Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in accountancy. Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred. Leadership Skills: Proven experience in managing and working with teams. Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
