Chartered Accountants (S.A) & Registered Auditors based in Tzaneen, Limpopo Ferreira Venter Laws & Nel, Registered Auditors and Chartered Accountants requires motivated, energetic individuals who want to apply for positions as Audit Managers. Junior Audit Managers: Primarily, you will be expected to perform a leading role in different audit assignments and/or be suitably qualified to act as an audit manager reporting directly to senior audit managers. You will also gain valuable experience in other fields such as taxation, accounting and consulting services Senior Audit Managers: Primarily, you will be expected to manage and oversee high-risk audit engagements, advise on technical matters, communicate with clients and report directly to partners. You will also gain valuable experience in other fields such as taxation, accounting and consulting services. The key performance areas of this position include: Manage portfolio of clients Business development and client relationship building. Manage work in progress and debtors Preparing financial statements in accordance with a recognised accounting frameworks Auditing of financials statements and company internal control systems. Completion of tax returns and resolving tax problems. Candidate to have strong technical skills. Review of working paper files prior to submitting to a Senior manager/partner. Preparation of all reports, statements and letters depending on engagement type Quality control of all audit work of his/her team. Staff management and training. Planning supervision, monitoring and control of all assurance and advisory engagements Presentation of financial information, summarizing and producing concise reports. Regular evaluation of staff reporting to him/her and mentoring them. Contribute to their development. Junior Audit Managers: A relevant accredited B. Com/B. Com (Hons) degree, completed articles and studying towards a Chartered Accountant (SA). Senior Audit Manager: Relevant Accredited B. Com (Hons)/CTA degree and completed articles. Excellent communication skills - written and spoken essential. Display sound leadership. Computer literate. Ability to market our services. Self motivated, pay attention to detail. Excellent communication skills. Strong interpersonal and management skills. Ability to multi task. Analytical and solution driven. Very pro-active and committed to delivery. Excellent time management skills. Salary is market-related and dependent on experience and qualifications.
