Junior Automation Technician - Cape Town City Centre
Requirements:
- Minimum N4 electrical/Millwright qualification.
- Experience in Hydraulics & Pneumatics. (advantageous)
- Production or FMCG experience. (advantageous)
- An ability to communicate effectively and transparently.
- An ability to identify and solve problems effectively.
- An ability to think issues through in a logical, systematic way.
- A passion for Automation
- A passion for Quality.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Self-disciplined and motivated.
- Own transport and drivers license is essential.
- Overtime and standby will be required from time to time.
- Assisting the production department in achieving optimum efficiencies through timeously and efficiently attending to the electrical requirements of their machinery and auxiliary equipment during maintenance, repair and servicing.
- Assisting with completion of maintenance schedules and programs for each machine as per supplier recommendation.
- Assisting with troubleshooting / problem solving in the department as and when required.
- Staying abreast & assisting with the implementation of technical developments and improvements.
- To be on standby as and when required.
- Properly maintaining maintenance records as per ISO procedures.
- Consistently checking quality of products with Quality Control.
