Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and setting of explosives for mining operations Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment Maintain and operate blasting equipment in a safe and efficient manner Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate blasting activities Monitor and inspect blast sites to ensure compliance with safety standards Assist in the maintenance and repair of blasting equipment as needed Keep accurate records of blasting activities and inventory of explosives Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in blasting techniques Requirements: Grade 12 Code 10 Driver’s License Valid Blasting Certificate Knowledge of Opencast Mining Benefits: Salary: R200K-R400K per year Family Responsibility Leave (if applicable) The post Junior Blaster appeared first on freerecruit.co.za .
