Phakisa Holdings is looking for Sand Blaster in Benoni area: Operate sandblasting equipment to clean, prepare, or finish surfaces. Select appropriate abrasive materials and equipment based on the material and desired finish. Inspect and prepare surfaces to be sandblasted, ensuring they are free from debris and contaminants. Follow safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) to protect against dust and debris. Maintain and repair sandblasting equipment, including checking for wear and tear. Clean and organize work areas to ensure a safe and efficient workspace. Follow detailed instructions and specifications for each project to meet quality standards. Communicate with supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks and report progress. Proven experience as a Sand Blaster or similar role. Familiarity with sandblasting equipment and techniques. Understanding of safety procedures related to sandblasting. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints. Strong attention to detail and precision. Physical stamina and ability to work in various environmental conditions.
