Our client is currently seeking a motivated Junior Bookkeeper to support their finance department in managing day-to-day accounting tasks. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who is eager to learn and grow in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Assist in the maintenance of financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports in a timely and accurate manner. Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to ensure accuracy and transparency. Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and accruals. Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements. Stay updated on relevant accounting regulations and industry trends. Matric 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. R12 000 CTC to R15 000 CTC per month based on experience and qualifications
