Our client is seeking a talented and driven Junior Tailings Engineer to join their dynamic Mine Waste team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain valuable experience in the field of tailings and geotechnical engineering. About the Role: As a Junior Tailings Engineer, you will contribute to a variety of projects, including the design, inspection, and management of mine waste storage facilities. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting senior engineers in data collection, analysis, and reporting. Assisting with tailings and geotechnical investigations. Contributing to the preparation of technical reports and proposals. Developing your skills in slope stability analysis, seepage analysis, and modelling software. Qualifications and Experience: Relevant degree (BEng or BSc) in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 4 years' post-graduation experience in tailings and geotechnical engineering. Honors degree in Geotechnical Engineering preferred. ECSA registration advantageous. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and relevant engineering software.
