Role Overview: As a Senior Renewables Engineer, you will serve as a senior technical consultant for utility-scale (5MW) Solar PV and Wind Energy projects. Your role will encompass technical advisory work, project management, and business development, with travel opportunities across Africa. You will need: BSc or BTech Engineering (Elec/Mech) Degree. ECSA registration as a Candidate Engineer required; Professional registration preferred. 7 years' experience in Solar PV technology (Wind Technology is advantageous). Technical advisory experience for investors, developers, and banks. Proven business development experience. Knowledge of various solar PV applications and technologies. Experience in international solar PV project development. Key Responsibilities: Manage high-quality technical advisory works. Provide technical input from assessment to feasibility of solar PV/Wind projects. Prepare and manage technical specifications, bills of materials, and contracts. Conduct due diligence and support clients through Financial Close processes. Monitor project construction and supervise commissioning.
