Reference: CPT000929-Jatin-1 Our client, a leading climate-centric blended finance fund manager, is seeking a proactive Junior Finance Manager to oversee various operational, audit, tax, and compliance functions for their designated legal entities. This role involves supporting the Senior Finance Manager with the financial accounting of the group's entities, which operate in multiple currencies and countries. If you are passionate about finance and looking to make an impact, we would love to hear from you Key Responsibilities Financial Management and Operations Accounts Payable and Accruals: Verify and manage invoices, oversee expense claims and credit card reconciliations, handle creditors' reconciliations, maintain the creditors database, code and allocate invoices using the accounting system (Microsoft Dynamics), and ensure timely payment reconciliations. Sundry Debtors: Prepare sundry debtor recovery invoices. Banking and Treasury: Facilitate bank payments, including international transactions, and reconcile multi-currency bank accounts (USD, EUR, ZAR, SGD, COP). Journal Entries: Prepare and post journal entries for various accounts, maintaining audit and tax records. Operational Support and Reporting: Assist with internal and external audits, contribute to business planning and forecasting, prepare VAT returns, manage fixed asset registers, support the preparation of monthly management accounts and annual audit packs and ensure documentation is audit-ready. Special Projects: Aid the team with ad-hoc reporting and special requests. Qualifications and Experience Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification (SA). 3-4 years' post-article experience in financial services. Proficient with complex accounting standards and financial reporting. Experience with accounting systems (Microsoft Dynamics). Proficiency in MS Office Suite. Experience in the financial services or fund management sector is advantageous. Familiarity with a multicurrency environment. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven setting.
