Assistant Finance Manager (Hybrid) - Cape Town City Centre


Qualifications required:

  • Qualified CA(SA) with 3 - 4 years post article experience

Skills and experience required:
  • Experience in a multicurrency environment
  • Fund Management experience would be advantageous
  • Strong financial reporting skills
  • Knowledge of complex accounting standards
Job description:
  • Manage and take full ownership of the assigned legal entities from an operational, audit, tax and compliance perspective
  • Report to Senior Finance Manager and assist in executing various financial accounting aspects
  • Prepare monthly management accounts for the head office in Netherlands
  • Monthly expense reporting
  • Assist with business planning and forecasting
  • Assist with VAT, Corporate Tax & Withholding tax
  • Banking & Treasury
  • Maintain creditors database and Sundry Debtors
  • Maintain fixed asset registers and IFRS16 lease calculations
  • Reconcile bank accounts in multiple currencies (USD, EUR, ZAR, SGD, COP)
  • Prepare annual audit pack and assist with the internal and external audit
  • Assist team with special ad-hoc reporting requirements and requests
