We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Finance Manager. THE COMPANY Our client specializes in providing a range of services including ROV operations, subsea engineering, subsea project management and equipment rentals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Finance / Accounting & Financial Management. Excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Junior Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in a company's financial planning and reporting process by creating strategic business plans, overseeing compliance with financial standards, and guiding decision-making through financial advisories. You will also prepare activity reports and create financial forecasts. Previous experience, brainstorming ways to maintain or reduce company costs. Advising the Directors on financial matters, providing analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. Overseeing financial operations, managing budgets, and providing strategic financial guidance Duties will include but not limited to: Financial Reporting and Analysis: Assist in preparing financial reports, including monthly management statements. Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for decision-making. Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with senior finance professionals to create and manage budgets. Participate in financial forecasting processes to predict future financial performance. Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and documentation. Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, including inflows and outflows. Identify areas for improvement and propose solutions to optimize cash management. Financial Decision Support: Provide financial insights to support business decisions. Collaborate with other departments to align financial strategies with organizational goals. Audit Preparation: Assist in preparing information for annual audits. Compile annual financial statements and related documentation. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field 2 – 5 years of experience in finance or accounting Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Pastel essential Experience with BEE, ISO & SDL will be an advantage.
